Kranjska Gora, Slovenia [18.05.2019.]
At the 4rd International Gastronomy Festival in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, were participated students from the Faculty of Science, Department of Gastronomy and the College of Vocational Studies for Management and Business Communications from Novi Sad, Serbia.
Together they successfully presented the Culinary Federation of Serbia. Culinary competition, was held from 7 to 10 May 2019, involved teams from: Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Mongolia, Ukraine, Italy, Russia, etc. Goran Radivojevic and PhD Nikola Vuksanović were compete for the Serbian chefs Association. Goran Radivojević took 2nd place and silver medal in the category Best senior. Culinary Association of Serbia, presented by: Miloš Ćirić, Mila Mirosavljević, Ivana Janković and Sanja Starčević. Ivana Janković took 3rd place and bronze medal in the category Best junior. Students of gastronomy from PMF and MPK competed under the mentorship of PhD Bojana Kalenjuk, Goran Radivojević and PhD Nikola Vukanović. At the competition, the role of Judges have Dejan Stanković and Marshal judges had PhD Bojana Kalenjuk, PhD Nikola Vuksanović and Goran Radivojević. In the competition, the students were judged by a team of judges headed by Iztok Legat (Slovenia), and other eminent judges like Uwe Micheel, Alma Rekić (Slovenia), Dragica Lukin i Stevo Karapandža (Croatia), Alan Pajet (Mauritius ), Robin Villarreal (Mexico), Vuko Mitrović (Montenegro), Emra Koksal (Turkey) and many others. |
Circus and culinary twist (04.02.2019.)
The Culinary Federation of Serbia, Serbian Chef Association and Culinary Association of Serbia were supported the charity event organized by students of the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad. Charity event "Circus and culinary twist" was organized on January 31, 2019. in restaurant Ribarac in Novi Sad. Charity were collected for the Iskra. The member of the Culinary Federation of Serbia are thanks to our friends and sponsors ARUM and ICEBERG SALAT centar.

New Year's celebration and charity event "New Year's gifts" [28.12.2018.]
The New Year celebration was organized on 27th of December by Culinary Federation of Serbia in restaurant Dvor in Subotica and at the same time a charity event "New Year's gifts" for children from Kolevka.
Members of the Culinary Federation of Serbia are grateful to restaurant Dvor from Subotica and restaurant Mozzarella Osteria from Belgrade, which contributed to the organization of the celebration and humanitarian action. Many thanks also to the sponsors who also participated in the organization: Zlatiborac from Belgrade, as well as Master Food from Backa Topola. Pastry workshop of Serbian Chefs Association [12.12.2018.]

The pastry workshop was organized on 10th of December by members of Serbian Chefs Association at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Chair of Gastronomy. Our member Zdravko Gavrilović held a practical demonstration about utilization of the restaurant desserts to the young members of KAS and other gastronomy students. This is the first of several educational workshops which will involve members of the Serbian Chefs Association. The goal of the workshop is to engage professional chefs through practical demonstration which will enable younger colleagues from KAS and other young cooks to acquire necessary knowledge and experience. Through these events, we would like to show plans to other colleagues from Serbian chefs association and Culinary association of Serbia, that is, to promote the values and goal of the professional associations of the Culinary Federation of Serbia.

CAS activity at local event “HEJ SALAŠI” in Novi Sad [26.11.2018.]

Workshop “Harmonization of authentic cheeses and wines ” was organized by members of Culinary Association of Serbia at local event “Hej salaši”. Event took place on 24.11.2018. at SPENS sports center in Novi Sad, and it was endorsed by local city and provincial authority in order of further promotion of regional gastronomical potential. The Board President of CAS, Maja Banjac, organized the workshop with the support of her colleagues prof. PhD Dragan Tešanović, (president of supervisor committee of KFS), Milica Djukić (Secretary of the CAS) and Milos Ćirić (president of CAS), while the following members of the association were active participants: Jež Vladimir, Slađana Todorović, Nemanja Ralić, Jelene Čavić, Sanja Starčević, Aleksandar Leovac, Mila Mirosavljević, Jelena Gagić, Božidar Pivnicki, Milana Trivković and Sanja Ivanković. Support to young colleagues and the participation in the workshop was also taken by the General Secretary of KFS, PhD Nikola Vuksanovic. Firstly, participants were introduced to the basic principles related to the harmonization of cheese and wine, then they tasted five authentic regional cheeses (cottage cheese, lean cheese, puff cheese, goat cheese and Sombor cheese) and five authentic regional wines (Italian Riesling, Sila, Neoplanta, Seduša, Probus), after which they were evaluated using appropriate scales used for the sensory evaluation of food and wine. The expenses of the workshop were borne by the Organizer and the Department of Gastronomy, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, while all participants worked without compensation in order to promote regional gastronomy and CAS.

Grand Gourmet 2018 – International waiter, barmen, barista & restaurant competition [12.11.2018.]
From 6th to 9th November 2018, there was a competition of waiters, bartenders, baristas and restaurants at the Meteor Hotel in Makarska (Republic of Croatia), called "Grand Gourmet 2018", where the individual international competition of waiters and bartenders took place, as well as international and national competition of catering facilities and team competition of waiters and chefs. The organizer of the competition is the Association of Cooks of Mediterranean and European Regions (SKMER) from Split, and the co-organizer is the Croatian Bar Association. Students of the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management from Novi Sad took part in the competition, among which was a representative of the Culinary Federation of Serbia and member of the Culinary Association of Serbia (CAS) Vladimir Jež. In the team with his colleague, waiter Mirko Miljanovic, they took part in the category "Restaurant Competition" where they have perfectly prepared and served an extended menu of four gangs. They won the first place in the general placement for which they were awarded with the gold medal and the plaque for overall winner of the competition.

KFS judges Vs. 99 Sarmas [05.11.2018.]
Members of the Culinary Federation of Serbia participated at "6th Sarmiada" ,which held place in Bačka Topola on 3rd of November 2018. At competition were 108 teams which participated in three categories: Classical sarama dish, special sarma dish and fasting (Vegetarian) sarma dish. KFS members at festival of tourism in Sarajevo [27.10.2018.]

Members of the Culinary Federation of Serbia participated in Festival of Tourism held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). At the same event, the fierce culinary competition took part from 24th to 26th October, in which participated teams from: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

Students from the Faculty of Science, Chair of Gastronomy from Novi Sad and the College of Vocational Studies for Management and Business Communications from Sremski Karlovci participated at the 3rd International GastroMak 2018 Gastronomic Festival in Strumica, Macedonia.
Together they successfully presented the Culinary Federation of Serbia. Culinary competition, which lasted from 8 to 11 October 2018, involved teams from over 15 countries, such as Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Mongolia, Ukraine, Russia , Azerbaijan etc. From students of gastronomy from PMF under the mentorship of PhD Bojana Kalenjuk and Goran Radivojević MSc, there were two competitors:

KFS celebrates guild's slava St. Efrosin [25.9.2018.]

Culinary Federation of Serbia was on Monday, 24th September of 2018, in Arum DEČ d.o.o company's headquarters in Zemun and has, for the first time, celebrated the orthodox slava of the Episcopal cook father Efrosin. All present guests and sponsors were welcomed by Mr. Jovan Vukelić, Chairman of the Board of the Culinary Federation of Serbia and PhD Dragan Tešanović, professor at the University of Novi Sad. Main contribution to the ceremonial aspect of the event was provided by AirSerbia's chef and honorary member of the Culinary Federation of Serbia Zoran Mišković, while Mirjana Gagić from the company Arum took care of the refreshment. Events importance was enlarged by presence of Dušan Štulić, Dobrila Šaula, Arum company staff, as well as representatives from companies "Urbani farmeri", Winterhalter, IceBerg and other.
